Termination from Goldman Sachs
On April 29, 2022, Sina Lashgari was fired from Goldman Sachs following allegations that he accessed sensitive proprietary software used for, among other things, financial data analysis. He allegedly accessed this software without firm authorization or a valid justification and attempted to hide these actions from the firm.
FINRA Rule 2010 requires that brokers uphold high standards of commercial honor and just and equitable principles of trade. Many forms of misconduct violate this rule.
