On November 13, 2023, Robert Clayton consented to the sanctions and to the entry of findings that he caused his member firm to make and preserve inaccurate books and records by mismarking tickets as unsolicited when he had solicited trades. Solicited trades are trades that brokers recommend and are therefore subject to closer supervisory scrutiny.
As part of the terms of the AWC, Robert Clayton consented to a three-month suspension and a $5,000 fine. You can read a copy here.
