On February 5, 2024, an investor alleged that a managed investment advisory account that was recommended in or around October 2021 was unsuitable. The investor is unhappy with the performance of the account, the proceeds of which were intended to fund a life insurance plan.

  • Time horizon (i.e., how long the investor plans to hold the investment)
  • Investing experience
  • Tax status
  • Financial goals
