Edward Jones Fires Matthew Mierzycki for Allegedly Violating Firm Policy

Matthew Mierzycki (CRD #:6102769), a broker registered with Ameriprise Financial Services, was recently fired by Edward Jones according to his  Brokercheck Record, accessed on January 5, 2021. Review details of his termination are below.  

Termination Details 

On October 28, 2021, Edward Jones fired Matthew Mierzycki after he allegedly violated firm policy regarding discretionary orders. FINRA Rule 3260 states that brokers must have a customer’s authorization to execute a securities transaction unless an account has been approved for discretionary trading, both by the customer and the brokerage firm.

  • Series 66 – Uniform Combined State Law Examination 
  • SIE – Securities Industry Essentials Examination 
  • Series 7 – General Securities Representative Examination 

He is a registered broker in four states. He is also a registered investment analyst in Texas and California.
