Investor Dispute
On November 30, 2022, an investor alleged that Matthew Bayer facilitated the purchases of an unsuitable annuity and mutual fund on August 23, 2021, using the proceeds received through the death of the client’s spouse. The client alleged that these investments exceeded her risk tolerance.

Investors should know, however, that firms can deny disputes without an external review. Investors may be able to recoup their losses following a denial by seeking out FINRA arbitration after a denial.
FINRA Rule 2111
