FINRA Allegations
On January 18, 2024, Lucas Hales entered into an Acceptance, Waiver, and Consent agreement (AWC) in which he consented to the findings that he participated in private securities transactions totaling $3 million without seeking or receiving his firm’s written approval to participate in those transactions, as required by FINRA Rule 3280.
Lucas Hales and another individual allegedly established an LLC to act as a vehicle for an investment in a technology company. He allegedly participated in transactions by reviewing investors’ subscription documents and serving as a designated point of contact for investors.
Terms of the AWC
As part of the terms of the AWC, Lucas Hales consented to a $10,000 fine and a 12-month suspension.
