FINRA Suspension
On May 12, 2025, Kyle Charters consented to the entry of findings that he allegedly participated in a private securities transaction in 2022 without notifying his firm, Inner Circle Sports.
According to a Letter of Acceptance, Waiver & Consent (AWC), Kyle Charters allegedly facilitated the sale of a limited partnership interest in a fund formed by a private equity firm to an institutional investor. The AWC further alleged that Kyle Charters hoped to later join this firm.
The institutional investor was allegedly not a client of Kyle Charters at Inner Circle Sports and ultimately invested approximately 1.5% of its assets in exchange for LP interest in January 2023.
Kyle Charters allegedly failed to notify Inner Circle Sports or receive approval to participate in this transaction.
The AWC concluded that these allegations constituted violations of FINRA Rules 3280 and 2010.
FINRA Rule 3280
FINRA Rule 3280 requires brokers to provide written notice to their firm before engaging in private securities transactions. This includes selling away, which is the practice of brokers selling investments not offered or approved by their firm.
FINRA Rule 2010
FINRA Rule 2010 holds brokers to high standards of commercial honor and just and equitable principles of trade.
Sanctions
Kyle Charters consented to the following sanctions:
- Six-month suspension from associating with FINRA members

His suspension began on May 19, 2025, and will end on November 18, 2025. You can read a copy of the AWC here.
