Joseph Ondris Faces 1-Month Suspension by FINRA

Joseph Ondris (CRD #: 1782322), a broker registered with Landolt Securities, has been suspended by FINRA, according to his BrokerCheck record, accessed on February 12, 2025. Keep reading to learn more about his alleged conduct as a broker.
FINRA Suspension
On January 27, 2025, Joseph Ondris consented to the entry of findings that he allegedly used an unauthorized personal email account for securities business communications from November 2015 through June 2023.
According to a Letter of Acceptance, Waiver & Consent (AWC), Titan Securities’ Written Supervisory Procedures (WSPs) allegedly prohibited the use of personal email accounts for business communications.
Joseph Ondris allegedly signed compliance attestations during the relevant period stating that he had only used his firm email address for business communications despite sending and receiving hundreds of securities-related communications via his personal email.
He allegedly did not provide Titan Securities with copies of these emails, causing the firm to fail to preserve these records.
The AWC concluded that these allegations constitute violations of FINRA Rules 4511 and 2010.
FINRA Rule 4511
FINRA Rule 4511 requires firms to keep accurate and up-to-date books and records.
FINRA Rule 2010
FINRA Rule 2010 holds brokers to high standards of commercial honor and just and equitable principles of trade.
Sanctions
Joseph Ondris consented to the following sanctions:
- One-month suspension from associating with FINRA members
- $5,000 fine
His suspension began on February 18, 2025, and will end on March 17, 2025. You can read the full AWC here.
New Hampshire Consent Order
On December 29, 2022, the New Hampshire Bureau of Securities Regulation alleged that, in March 2020, Joseph Ondris solicited a New Hampshire resident who was listed on the Federal Trade Commission’s National Do Not Call Registry and who had not requested a call.
Joseph Ondris was allegedly not registered as a broker or investment adviser in New Hampshire. He allegedly made two phone calls, and later sent the resident an email using promissory language with regard to a Regulation D private placement.
Further, the Bureau of Securities Regulation alleged that Joseph Ondris had made other phone calls to New Hampshire residents, which the Bureau believed suggested telemarketing. The Bureau allegedly also discovered that Joseph Ondris had sent an email to several individuals guaranteeing them against losses and promising investment returns.
The Bureau of Securities Regulation ordered Joseph Ondris to cease and desist. Joseph Ondris also consented to a fine of $25,000 and an additional sanction of $15,000.
FINRA Rule 2150
