John Davis Embroiled in Investor Dispute for Allegedly Failing to Follow Instructions
John Davis (CRD #:2312724), a broker and investment advisor registered with Edward Jones, is involved in an investor dispute, according to his BrokerCheck record, accessed on January 19, 2022.
According to the allegations filed on October 21, 2021, John Davis failed to follow his client’s instructions to liquidate her account. The client further alleged that John Davis misrepresented the potential tax implications of liquidating the account. The investor is seeking $300,000一the case is still pending.

FINRA Rule 2010
It is the duty of a broker to perform a customer’s orders promptly in a manner best suited to serve the customer’s best interest.
