On December 10, 2021, David Bingham was fired by Edward Jones following allegations that he violated firm policies relating to the privacy of firm information. The allegations do not state what firm information David Bingham failed to adequately handle. Investors should know, however, that SEC Regulation S-P requires broker-dealers and investment companies to “adopt written policies and procedures that address administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for the protection of customer records and information.”
