Christ Baltas Suspended by FINRA For Allegedly Failing with Comply with an Award

Christ Baltas (CRD #: 2570499), a broker formerly registered with Worden Capital Management, has been suspended by FINRA for allegedly failing to comply with an arbitration award, according to his BrokerCheck Record accessed on February 10, 2022. FINRA Suspension Details

According to a complaint raised by FINRA on December 23, 2021, Christ Baltas allegedly failed to comply with an arbitration award or settlement agreement or to satisfactorily respond to a FINRA request to provide information concerning the status of the arbitration’s compliance. The suspension will continue until he makes the required payment.

On April 15, 2020, Christ Baltas was named in a customer complaint alleging fraudulent misrepresentation and omission of material facts; unsuitable recommendations and trading strategy; breach of standards of commercial honor and principles of trade (FINRA Rule 2010); and lack of reasonable supervision (FINRA Rule 3010). The Award found Christ Baltas liable for $41,919.67 plus interest, in addition to other costs. 

FINRA Bar

On September 22, 2020, Christ Baltas was barred by FINRA after allegedly refusing to appear for a FINRA on-the-record testimony relating to a FINRA investigation involving his supervision of a registered representative’s potentially unsuitable trading recommendations.
