Texas Issues Letter of Reprimand for Brian Prasifka

Texas Regulatory Action

On April 27, 2023, the State of Texas issued a Letter of Reprimand alleging that Brian Prasifka was charged with a felony offense on May 7, 2019, but failed to report the charge on his Uniform Application for Securities Industry Registration or Transfer (Form U4) until February 8, 2023.

The state stated that this alleged failure to report the felony charge to the Securities Commissioner within 30 days violated Section 115.9(a)(2) of the Texas Securities Board Rules.

Section 115.9(a)(2) of the Texas Securities Board Rules requires registered securities dealers to report any felony criminal actions or convictions to the Securities Commissioner within 30 days of their entry against them.
