Ryon Frisch Allegedly Misrepresented Variable Annuities

Investor Dispute

On October 17, 2022, an investor alleged that, in 2021, Ryon Frisch recommended he move funds from his two variable annuities into two new variable annuities, claiming that these new annuities offered the same guaranteed minimum income benefit (GMIB) benefits as the existing ones.

The client further alleges that neither of these new Equitable variable annuities has a GMIB rider, resulting in financial harm. They seek $150,395 in damages in this pending dispute.
