Ravid Gold Facing FINRA Suspension

Ravid Gold (CRD #: 6314469) has been suspended by FINRA following allegations that he circumvented a firm policy. This disclosure appears on his BrokerCheck record, accessed on December 11, 2023. Keep reading if you have questions about his alleged conduct.

On October 3, 2023, Ravid Gold consented to the entry of findings that he circumvented his firm’s policies regarding cross-trading. The firm required brokers to obtain prior written customer consent. Cross-trading involves executing buy and sell orders in the same security. This is potentially manipulative activity and is not usually allowed on public exchanges.

Ravid Gold allegedly identified firm customers who needed to liquidate corporate bonds and other firm customers who needed to purchase the bonds. He then allegedly arranged for the sales of the bond positions to a counterparty with the promise to repurchase them later. He allegedly did not receive written customer consent to execute these trades.

Terms of the AWC
