Michael Wetrich Allegedly Provided Misleading Information

Regulatory Action 

On May 8, 2024, the State of Minnesota Department of Commerce alleged that Michael Wetrich provided inaccurate and misleading information to a consumer regarding an annuity contract, in violation of Minn. Stat. § 60K.43, subd. 1(8) (2022) and Minn. R. 2795.1000 (2023).

Minnesota imposed a censure and a fine of $5,000. 


FINRA Rule 2020 forbids the use of deceptive, manipulative, and otherwise fraudulent methods to influence the purchase and sale of securities. The misrepresentation or omission of material facts violates this rule.
