Lloyd Wright Allegedly Breached His Contract

Investor Dispute

On May 5, 2022, an investor alleged that, though her step-daughter had power of attorney, Lloyd Wright breached his contract by permitting her step-daughter to withdraw and redirect funds from her accounts to other investments without the client’s permission from March 2021 through February 2022. This dispute is currently pending.

FINRA Rule 2150

FINRA Rule 2150 prohibits brokers from making “improper use of a customer’s funds.” This rule prevents brokers from allowing unauthorized withdrawals from an investor’s account and also prohibits brokers from sharing in an investor’s profits and losses.
