FINRA Suspends Keith Esp After Alleged Failure to Comply With Arbitration Agreement

Suspension by FINRA
On June 10, 2022, FINRA suspended Keith Esp following his alleged failure to comply with an arbitration award or provide an adequate response to a FINRA request for information regarding the status of his compliance.
On April 1, 2022, Keith Esp entered into an arbitration agreement with LPL Financial concerning his alleged failure to repay the firm in compliance with another agreement made with LPL Financial on August 24, 2012, following his termination from the firm.
The 2022 arbitration agreement obligated Keith Esp to pay $33,247.04, the sum of the remaining principal due from the 2012 agreement, as well as interest at a rate of 5.25% and $5,650 of the firm’s filing and attorneys’ fees.
Sanctions
Keith Esp was indefinitely suspended by FINRA in all capacities on June 10, 2022, and his suspension will continue until the required payment is received or discharged.
