Gary Kieper is Facing Felony Theft Charges

Gary Kieper (CRD #: 4147968), a previously registered broker with Thrivent Investment Management, has been barred by FINRA. This disclosure appears on his BrokerCheck record, accessed on June 27, 2024. Keep reading if you have questions regarding his alleged conduct. 

Regulatory Actions 

On May 21, 2024, FINRA barred Gary Kieper following allegations that he refused to provide on-the-record testimony requested by FINRA, in violation of FINRA Rule 8210.

FINRA Rule 8210 requires members to submit their books and records for inspection and to appear for testimony in connection with FINRA investigations.

Criminal Charges

Gary Kieper has been charged with nine felonies, including two charges of theft of over $100,000 in a business setting. There are two other felony theft charges. 

High Standards of Commercial Honor 

FINRA Rule 2010 holds brokers to high standards of commercial honor and just and equitable principles of trade. Theft violates this rule.
