Edward Knezevich (CRD #:6196004), a former registered broker with MML Investors Services, is involved in an investor dispute, according to his BrokerCheck record, accessed on November 3, 2021. 

Investor Allegations

On September 7, 2021, an investor filed a dispute against Edward Knezevich. In that complaint, the investor alleges that he misled her regarding the features of a life insurance purchase. According to the investor complaint, Edward Knezevich told her that she could use funds from her IRA to pay for the life policy without any tax penalty. The investor alleges that she later learned that this was not the case.

The damage amount requested is $95,200.00. The case is still pending.

Edward Knezevich's alleged conduct is a violation of FINRA Rules 2020 and 2010.

FINRA Rule 2020 prohibits brokerage firms and stockbrokers from making material misrepresentations of fact to induce an investor in connection with the sale or purchase of an investment. Misrepresentation also violates The Securities Act of 1933, which prohibits deceit, misrepresentation, and other fraud in the sale of securities. 

Edward Knezevich's alleged conduct is also unethical and violates FINRA Rule 2010, which states the brokers must uphold the highest standards of commercial honor.
