FINRA Rule 4530
FINRA Rule 4530 requires that brokerage firms report if any of their registered brokers are the subject of a written customer complaint involving allegations of theft or misappropriation of funds or securities or of forgery. They must also report if a broker is indicted, convicted of, or pleads guilty to, or pleads no contest to any felony, or any misdemeanor that involves forgery.
