FINRA Bars Cesar Casado Following Investigation

On February 13, 2025, FINRA permanently barred Cesar Casado, alleging that he refused to provide documents and information requested in connection with an investigation.
In a Letter of Acceptance, Waiver & Consent (AWC), FINRA alleged that these requests were made in relation to an amended Uniform Termination Notice of Securities Industry Registration (Form U5) filed by NYLIFE Securities.
The amended form allegedly disclosed that Cesar Casado was allowed to resign after a firm review found a pattern of inaccurate information in life insurance applications submitted by him and his agents.
The AWC concluded that the alleged refusal to provide information constituted a violation of FINRA Rules 8210 and 2010. You can read the full AWC here.

Termination from NYLIFE Securities
On July 15, 2024, NYLIFE Securities permitted Cesar Casado to resign following allegations that he submitted insurance applications with inaccurate information.
These applications allegedly allowed certain agents to meet production requirements, qualifying Cesar Casado to receive additional compensation.
