Consent Order from the State of Tennessee
On March 4, 2022, the Securities Division of the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance filed a consent order against Brent Turner.
The Division alleges that Brent Turner failed to maintain adequate ledgers, consistently provide required disclosures, enforce written policies and procedures, and maintain all copies of client agreements. The Division also alleges Brent Turner misrepresented assets under management on Form ADV, the Uniform Application for Investment Advisor Registration.
The consent order requires that Brent Turner “comply with the act” and includes sanctions of $2,500. This regulatory action is currently pending.
