FINRA Bars Blake Eskew for Alleged Refusal to Appear for Testimony

Blake Eskew (CRD #: 6959564), a broker formerly registered with J.P. Morgan Securities, has been barred by FINRA, according to his BrokerCheck record, accessed on March 23, 2023. Read on to learn more about his alleged conduct as a broker.

On February 16, 2023, Blake Eskew consented to the entry of findings that he allegedly refused to appear for on-the-record testimony requested by FINRA.

A Letter of Acceptance, Waiver & Consent (AWC) alleges that Blake Eskew failed to respond to multiple requests to appear for testimony. He allegedly notified FINRA of his refusal to appear for testimony on January 23, 2023.

The AWC concludes that this alleged refusal constitutes a violation of FINRA Rules 8210 and 2010.

FINRA Rule 8210 requires members to supply records, information, and testimony upon request by FINRA.

FINRA Rule 2010 holds brokers to high standards of commercial honor and just and equitable principles of trade.

Sanctions

Blake Eskew was indefinitely barred by FINRA starting February 16, 2023.
